Pretty rare footage of a fight between Akebono and Royce Gracie. We can understand even before looking at the video of which way the fight will go. Even though Akebono is so huge and has an advantage in weight, it doe not compare to the mass amounts of experience and skill that Gracie has over Akebono. I find it kind of funny that at the beginning of the fight Akebono pretty much gets him on the ground and just lays on him. I wonder what that must have been like to have Akebono lay on top of you. Regardless pretty entertaining fight and ends with a good submission. Make sure you have good sparring gear so you can protect yourself from injury.
