Seated Meditation

When looking for a good video to demonstrate the basics and meanings of how to practice ZaZen, i came across this video on youtube. i watched it and found it to be very insightful and have good knowledge of how to practice it as well.  it is made by a company called “Empty Mind Films”, and is a great instructional video. Check it out, you never know, it might be a new way of meditation that you will start to incorporate into your daily practice of meditation.  The video is very easy to understand and they fully explain each term as well. They tell you the different terms and definitions of what each position is called and go on a step-by-step action so that you can follow along.

If you find this video very helpful i would recommend going to their website and seeing what they have to offer. They have some DVD’s with good content and talk about Zen, Meditation and other great martial arts subjects as well.  It’s always great to see websites like this pushing for meditation and knowledge of meditation. Their website is:

Zen is a great way to go if you are a beginner in trying out meditation, or if your looking for a new style of meditation. it can help with your focus and concentration and you can learn a lot from this unique style. ZaZen is an ancient old style that is still used today and i personally like it. hopefully you will gain the same likeing as well.
